I had surf lessons with Lorenzo everyday. I progressed so much. He is definitely a great teacher. Passionate and really knows the sea, waves and how to adapt the levels and learning to you. They were personal and definitely made my trip.

My boyfriend and I booked a surf lesson with Lorenzo via Jiani and even got to have dinner with them at their place for a super reasonable price. It was a wonderful evening outside in the garden with other guests and locals. Lorenzo is a great teacher and Jiani was very attentive, a good cook and host.

I came to Panama to specifically work on my surfing. I chose the surf school based on their great reviews. I wasn’t disappointed! Guánico Abajo is a wonderful place to spend your time at the beach. The area is so beautiful. And best of all, every day, there are empty waves with light offshore breezes just waiting to be ridden! The atmosphere is very relaxed and very safe. They also have a café right in front of the surf spot that serves the area’s best lattes, smoothies and meals; perfect for your post session refuel. They have a bunch of boards for all levels for you to use. And if you want to take your surfing abilities to the next level, you have to have Lorenzo take you out for a surf lesson. I used his coaching services everyday while I was there. Lorenzo is an incredible surf coach. He is out there with you, helping you with wave selection, catching unbroken sections, pop ups, bottom turns, cut backs, etc. I just listened to his instruction, and the surfing came easy. Video analysis of my sessions were extremely helpful in seeing what areas I needed to work on. By the end of the week, I made significant improvements and I was so happy with my progress.

My gf and I did surf lessons with Lorenzo, had a fantastic time and feel that we actually learned enough to try again on our own later that trip. Highly recommend.
